Two Prophets give the similar clear warning of Global Catastrophes that human should heed:

1. What did the Buddha tell monks?
The Ancient script on the pillar in India over 2500 years ago show that there will be Metteya (Read) or Metteyya (write) or Maitreya (or the Messiah or other last divine representatives as indicated by various other world religions prophecies) who will help people to have peace at the present time till the end of the world. If people do not pay attention there will be fire falling from the sky and land will sink into the sea. Buddha foretold about the great inundation and conflagration that are indicated to happen in 2013 AD.

(The script also tells the monks that the last human will be around 2500 years from the present time. Buddhism is not a religion, but a philosophy. )

2. Nostradamus' predictions in his prophecy and the letter to his son, of a future Messiah that come to help people at the present time to enter the golden age.
If they are neglectful of the acknowledgment, they should consider what Nostradamus wrote in the letter to his son, Caesar. “… I find that learning shall be great loss, and therefore the universal conflagration shall happen so many great inundations, that there shall scarce be any land that shall not be covered with water, and this shall last so long, … and burning stones shall fall from heaven, … All this shall happen a little while before the great conflagration.

Interestingly, Nostradamus' QI:48 pointed out that the world will be end around the year 7000, which is harmony to Buddha's foretold in # 1 above. The sun needs some thousand years to resume the Earth. (The Complete prophecies of Nostradamus, Henry C. Roberts)

4. KJV Bible; Revelation 20:9 "And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them." (they = Anti-God)

5. The Mayan Myth recognize the destruction of earth by December 2012 A.D. in order to allowed for the construction of a new cosmological order.

Please take time to rethink about what is being said in the scriptures:

So, Buddha, Mayan's and Nostradamus’s messages, about the great inundation and conflagration will be clearly understood, if people choose to ignore God’s kindness.

NASA's THEMIS mission has overturned a long standing belief about the interaction between solar particles and the Earth's magnetic field. The Earth electromagnetic field forms a protective shield around the earth most of the time to protect us by shielding us from the solar wind's that are constantly streaming towards Earth.  The solar wind's have very high radiation energies.  They can cause damage to Astronauts and spacecraft. March 10, 2006: It's official: … This week researchers announced that a storm is coming--the most intense solar maximum in fifty years, it will be second only to the historic Solar Max of 1958. Mausumi Dikpati realized years ago, that there is a conveyor belt on the sun.  We have something similar here on Earth — the Great Ocean Conveyor Belt, popularized in the sci-fi movie The Day After Tomorrow.  In the movie, the Conveyor Belt stopped and threw the world's weather into chaos. May 2013:
May 29, 2009: An international panel of experts has released a new prediction for the next solar cycle. Solar Cycle 24 will peak, they say, in May 2013.  A recent report by the National Academy of Sciences found that if a similar storm as the 1859 solar storm occurred today, it could cause $1 to 2 trillion in damages to society's high-tech infrastructure and require four to ten years for complete recovery.

How do about life on Earth?

Earth's north magnetic pole is racing toward Russia at almost 40 miles (64 kilometers) a year due to magnetic changes in the planet's core.  The magnetic north pole had moved little from the time scientists first located it in 1831 (at Cape Adelaide on the west coast of Boothia Peninsula, Canada.). Then in 1904, the pole began shifting northeastward at a steady pace of about 9 miles (15 kilometers) a year.  In 1989 it began to speed up, and in 2007 scientists confirmed that the pole is now galloping toward Siberia at 34 to 37 miles (55 to 60 kilometers) a year.
